So this is a slideshow from one of the most incredible weddings I’ve ever attended. Why? There was something so genuine about it, and so perfect. It seemed everything was in its right place. She has a Swedish background, and he is Canadian. We had tonnes of incredible raw fish and home made beer (made by the best man). The weather went from cloudy, to sunny, to one of the more violent and quick storms I’ve seen in a while, and then back to perfect semi-overcast weather. So much was happening on this day, and all of it was just perfect. Kir was assisting me and freaking out at every Scandinavian touch there was. We did just that the whole day. Freaked out at things. I can’t go back and re-live it, but I did make this slideshow.

The song in the background is one that the groom WROTE for his bride just for this occasion. I recorded it without them knowing so that I could put it in their slideshow as a surprise. He once played for Dan Mangan a few years ago, who was also the guy that introduced these two while on tour (Thanks, Dan, I owe it to you for this awesome wedding). Among the Ukulele players on the Beach is Jasmin Parkins from Mother Mother too.
